This article will provide you with step by step instructions for installing the FoilFast P21x FoilFast printer in Windows XP. 1.Plug your printer into your computer using either a USB cable or a parallel printer cable. The P21x printer is the first generation of the Foilfast Printer to include a USB port. 7.At this point you may receive a warning that the software you are about to install has not passed Windows Logo testing. If this window appears, click 'Continue Anyway'. The Hardware Wizard should now install the software onto your computer.
8.The Hardware Wizard will notify you when it is finished installing the printer software. Click 'Finish'. The printer device drivers and FoilFast software will not be loaded onto your computer and you should be ready to customize your documents with foil.
After you have completed these steps, your printer should be ready to use. If, for any reason your installation was not successful, remove all components of the FoilFast software from your computer and try the installation again.
